Hello,
I am planning to start a one-year certificate program in January 2020 in BC and I will be done with my current certificate program by the end of December 2019 from Alberta.
Do I need to apply for a new study permit or just update my DLI in my current study permit?
If I need to update it when shall I do so, i.e. before or after I complete my current course?
 
When does your permit expire? You need to renew it before it expires, else you just need to update your DLI.
