Thanks for the great replies in this forum.
My Query is Iam planning to come to canada on work permit as a Cashier (it is under NOC occupation level "D" I suppose) But I have been told that as per the new rules and changes that I wont be able to apply for PNP or CEC even after my two years in Canada.
Is this true as per the new rules and changes??? Also what is the way out to get PR in my case.
yes,You need to be under a NOC O,A or B or else come in under a semi skilled PNP Category,For example If you were a fastfood worker cashier in BC,You could come in under our PNP
It's not new rules. You were never able to apply for CEC unless you were skill level 0, A or B. Same for PNP except for BC or AB semi skilled programs. Try to upgrade to a skilled job or find a qualifying low skill job in BC or AB.
So can I apply for CEC after two year or I Have to upgrade my skills and what would these skills be like.
What if I extend my contract for another two years with the same employer or find a another employer. Bottom line is how can I apply for PR if iam working as a cashier??
