Dear all,
I had to issue a new passport as for renewing a residence visa for UAE, passport validity should be more than six months. In my previous passport Canadian Immigration Visa is stamped which is valid till August and I am travelling in first week of June. Is there any issue with this?

Yes, any Visa is valid till its expiry date even though the passport on which it was stamped expired. So you are good to land with a valid visa on an expired passport.
It does not matter that your passport is renewed and your visa is on the old passport just ensure that both your passports are stapled together. The Visa expiry date matters.
I understand in normal circumstances it works e.g. when u have visit visa stamped. My question is specifically related to Immigration Visa as in all landing document my previous passport number has been mentioned.
Do I need to inform CHC London about it or should I contact to Canadian Embassay.

It does not matter if it is a tourist visa or an immigration visa. As long as you have a valid visa on your old passport and you have both your passports with you, it should not be a problem !!
Please note that in case if your passport has been changed u need to inform CHC London. In last few days I sent many mails to CHC London and Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and finaly got the answer from CHC London that they have updated my new passport info into the System.
I will take this email confirmation with me while landing.
