OLD passport will with you, Right, then visit nearest S.Arabia consulate or embassy and apply there for Police clearance, they will help you.
Yes, your local CHC will make security checks then they will track, they will have rights to track for security checks.

mostly with new passport they mentioned it old passport, if your country mentioned it we dont know, our country is mentioned it even USA too (my daughter born in USA and her Passport expiered we get new one, they mentioned new passport number, even my indian passport expiered and got new one they mentioned old PP number to new one) .
even they track with your name and date of birth, address which you provided in IMM forms, even you have to mentioned your OLD PP number and new PP number with all travel history on canadian immigration forms, Lie or hide something with Canadian authority CIC or CHC is create delay or problem to you.
I made all countries Police clearance and submitted, I stayed in 8 countries and sent it to CHC also.
I dont want to hide anything for my PR file.
I hope you understand it.

My dear friend when u apply for new passport the reference of old pp number is mentioned on new passport. Next initially u will sail smoothly but during mid process if ur Visa officer tells u he needs to see all pages of old passport or after u get thru all this and issued PPR and he requests u to send all passports held by you just think what could be ur state. Habibi u will be banned for MISREPRESENTATION.
Right, Agreed Shibuya I sent all pages copy of my all old passport when I applied and even when I get new passport November 2010, I sent new passport copy to CHC Buffalo too.

Honesty is the best Policy. OMN.
