New IRCC Portal - Should IMM 5476 be physically signed ?

I am trying to apply for parents visitor visa through new IRCC portal. I may need to conduct business on their behalf with IRCC. So I thought I would use the form "IMM 5476, Use of a representative". Now this form needs my parents as well my signature. Do we need to sign this physically and scan it or just a digital signature at the end of application process is enough ?

Hi. We don't need the original signatures when you submit your application. We accept faxed or scanned signatures. Note that a processing officer may ask to see the original signatures later on. Hope this helps.
