Hi, I have recently applied for an application on 14th of March, but when I check my UCI number in that application it shows a different number to what I have been issued in my prior applications. My UCI number does not start with a CAN it is a normal 10 digit number. Also, I have read on various websites that UCI always remains the same throughout all different applications. So, I find it very concerning to see a different number.

My regular UCI is one number, and that is the same on my PR application, OWP application and ETA.
I have also got an express entry profile, and that has a different UCI than what the other three have which begins with CANXXXX. . I spoke with IRCC on the phone last week, and she said it was normal for EE profiles to have CANXXXX..... as the UCI for that actually makes no difference. As long as you have the proper UCI when filling out any paperwork that you do, that's all they need.

Hey!! I have same situation my UCI number on my portal request is different than my actual UCI number. I called IRRC and the agent told me that they know about this and it should not be a problem. But I am little concerned about how would this work? And how long the process gets in this situation because it has been 3-4 weeks and I am still waiting for my credentials. Can you please tell me how did it work in your case?
