Hi everyone,
I have got AOR letter from embassy of Canada, New Delhi and they have asked me to provide below 3 points alongwith medical test fee receipt:
  • Landing fee (if not paid)
  • PCC (if not submitted)
  • Original passport
I have already submitted PCC (issued on May2011) with my other documents and received by VO on 20 June and my PCC was arround 2 months old when embassy sent me AOR letter, Now my lawyer is asking me to apply for new PCC!!!, please let me know whether my lawyer is correct and let me know if any of you have applied for new PCC at this stage.
In my opinion as I have already submitted PCC which was less than 3 months old on day when embassy issued waiver notice, then I need not apply for new PCC.

Also please let me know how many days after medical test I should be expecting for Visa stamp.

appreciate your valuable feedback.

Saeid .............for getting PCC from India, you need only 10 days. I think it is better to send new PCC now. If CHC ask for PCC later then they will take 2-3 months extra in your case.

Hi Rajeev, I have to get 2 PCCs, the one from India took 2 months for me, moreover, I can not travel abroad again just to get another PCC,,,, 2 months back I got my PCC, do they really want me to send them PCC or its a kind of template which they send to everyone as they have mentione "IF NOT SUBMITTED"

In my opinion they are requesting for your PCC IF NOT SUBMITTED. Since you have already submitted your PCC, it does not apply. Just mention that you have already submitted your PCC (give details i.e. date on PCC, when u submitted it to VO etc.) in your cover letter for submission of other two items.

hi guys,
After submitting my first PCC around 1 year back on July 2011, NDVO is again asked me to submit new PCC last month.
has anyone experienced same situation of getting call to submit PCC twice?

Hi all,

Even I had submitted PCC a couple months ago - now my VO is again asking, should I get it again?

It's mind boggling to get the PCC.

Your suggestions pls!

Br,
J
