You need to scan all documents and make it as a single pdf file or doc file, but remember maximum file size should be 4 or less than 4MB. I prefer pdf, all IMM's forms signature is not must , but the documents like Employment contract and Job offer should be signed before scanning.

I dont remember uploading pay slips and exp certificate while applying for my S-OWP, however, you have the appendix section where you can add these documents under "explanation" as well to explain your application.
