I am landing in canada on 8th may. I am carrying dd of morethan 10000 CAD . for proof of funds i am giving statement of my savings account from last 18 months to show that the amount was as fixed deposits and also i am giving bank certificate. Is that ok. Do the cbsa agent ask abt source of income.

yes you must. but only after she arrives in Canada.

i am so sick n tired of NDVO's incompetence... applicants from sep 22 or later getting ppr and we don't even have BGC or re-medical request. No matter how much they claim to be process driven they are just messed up.
its not the volumes... its just poor management n inefficiency that causes delays. Typical government mentality

thanks suruchi. my concern is spouse's medical expired and they haven't even asked for re-med. while they have asked others for additional docs. i fear it doesn't drag too long. This is endemic in cic. But i guess cant do anything about it.

[Yes they will definitely check or count your cash if you disclose in custom form but if you will carry proof of those funds and you should have the solid reason for carrying this much cash. you should fine also the plus point you are migrating permanently to Canada ]

Ok this is getting me worried now I see there are alot of sept applicants from 1-22 getting dm and ppr but I havent been getting any updates since april 5th and im sept 9 applicant medical passed and background check is in process also senr additiional docs as well and now for the the past 3 weeks no updates since Any more sept applicant left now if so how many ????

I think she is tourist and not moving here on visitor visa.....No need to update address….

My wife has visited me 5-6 times on visitor visa during process and never updated my address….
