I would like to know how do i get back my original documents that were submitted with the application initially. If anyone has any information about this please share.

As per my information applicant should never send original documents unless if asked boz they never send back if submitted. Try to see this information on Cic web or documents check list

What proof did u submit before ? What do u think why did they ask for more proof? U can inbox me if u want .....thanks

Actually last yr we had our registry marriage wid a small family gathering followed by reception. Whatever pics we have dat tym we sent all those but not much rituals happened that time since it happend in a temple.
But finally we had our proper social traditional bengali marriage this yr on feb.
I got a mail last week asking to submit all photos of pre wedding and post wedding rituals so i submitted all recent photos along with a cover letter explaining why it did not happened in last year.

Can u please elaborate like what they ask u in verification call? Which number you got a call?

Suddenly One lady from cic called on my landline no., she might have tried on my no. but cudnt reach me. So my mom rcvd the call and and she spoke to my parents. In my understanding , they were more focussing on our traditional marriage on feb 5th. They were verifying about all the traditional Bengali rituals happened on feb 5th, about the venue and they were enquiring about past date on 27th July what happened. was there any priest and was there any rituals happened on 27th July or not.

I am 26 Sep applicant, no updates. Only Medical result has been received in the third line on ecas.

On gc key u don't have it passed?

yes i got BG check in progress yesterday.

So u have had some communication from them. Idk why they haven't updated anything for the rest of us yet.

How many Sept applicants left with no updates at all?

Sep 19th. no news. no updates. my spouse's med expired and they havent even asked for that. looks like we are in for a long frustrating wait. i think cic defies all forms of logic, rules, fairness or efficacy

On gc key u don't have it passed?

Yeah! On gc key, it says medical has passed. Eligibility review in progress from last 7 months. Nothing more than that. No progress on background check either.

I reside in Canada and planning to apply spousal application for my wife in India. I have couple of queries...could the forum members please help me out.

1. Currently the application is with me in Canada and I plan to send through DHL. To which address I should send to

a.

CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

b.

Case Processing Centre – Mississauga
2 Robert Speck Parkway, Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

either a or b? If one is sending through Canada post....should one use 'a' address?

2. Application guide mentions...'Send the application package with all the requested documents in a stamped envelope to the address above.'

What does one mean by stamped envelope? Is it postage payment or one should place an empty stamped envelope inside the package?

Could the forum members please let me known.

Did they ask your any original documents? if yes they will give you back you back , however if they never requested originals then you can request them to get those back but its little hard. thanks quote]

I maybe wrong you can request it or they sedo it back if it's wrong
