Guys, Clearly we can read that additional document request delays the process. Can someone jump in to provide us more clarity? Any body from June, July and August got DMs after the additional document request?
Its expectation and disappointment everyday.

You are right! Any additional doc means delay. Wish they were more process oriented and ask for docs ahead of time... And honestly i wonder how many more docs they require after we submitted loads of it. Its like "Guilty unless proven innocent"

Agreed! Honeslty if 200 picture and 100 pages of communication logs isn't enough then I don't know what is.

I can see there are many applicants from April May June July and from August 2016 are waiting for DM after submitting the additional documents. I know it is really frustrating for all of us

I was wondering If anybody can explain more about this who gone through the same situation and got the DM.

1. How many days will they take for assessing additional documents in average and when can we expect DM


2. What can we do next as an enquiry if we dont hear any updates from CIC. Is there anything that we really can do as a reminder or to get an
status
update ?


3. Or should we wait till CIC give an update which we really do not know when it gonna happen ?

My wife is PR in canada and I am here in New Delhi. She has no current undertaking or previous undertaking.

Got stuck in one question in financial evaluation IMM 1283 form.

I am 28 Aug 2016 applicant. yesterday I got update on GC KEY - Background check - "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." and Final Decision as "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

and on ECAS.

it says Decision made, but upon clicking decision made , last line says "Medical results have been received." but nothing about final decision.

This makes me really anxious, is everything good ???

points to notice: my medical has been passed and I was not asked for any additional document.
