My husband and I have received our request for an interview, for December 3, 2013 in New Delhi. He is from India and is here on a student visa but is now on a visitors visa through the process of our applying for PR in Canada.
I am not sure how my husband is supposed to fly from Vancouver to New Delhi when his passport is there (upon their request in May 2013)
You should request that the passport be returned to you asap (I assumed you must have mailed the passport from an address in India since it is illegal to send Indian passports via mail or courier). Once the passport reaches the address you provided in India, a trusted family member or friend should bring it back to Canada so that your husband can use it to fly back to India to attend the interview. You're extremely short on time. I would contact the ND VO both via email and letter as soon as you can.
If he can't get the passport back in time, you'll have to ask that the interview be postponed.

agree with aroundwrd99 u are actually in a mess..........I think u shld mail ndvo asap to request to send bk the passport to the indian address and ask your mp to request ndvo to send bk the passport too since u don't have much time .....I don't think u shld miss this interview....coz it can seriously delay your application.......coz new delhi is seriously backlogged and don't know when u wld get another date for interview.....they are already full for 2013..........
