New born in India -- Which process is quick --PR sponsorship for dependant child or visitor Visa

Hi, Myself and my wife were PR holder. My kid born in india staying with my wife in India needs visa or PR to come canada. I am in Canada now, planning to apply sponsorship PR for my kid. But i am not sure how long this could take. please suggest me from following options.

1) Applying Visitor Visa from India and after visiting canada can we apply PR for my kid ?
or 2) Applying Sponsorhip PR for my kid and wait until it gets approved. Any possibility to speed upthe PR process mentioning new born to reunite with family.
or 3) This options suggested by one consultant, --" Applying Sponsorship PR and using regisration number apply visito Visa " Is this Possible ?

1. You must be in Canada and remain in Canada to sponsor your child for PR. Yes you can try to apply for a TRV for the baby. If denied a TRV you can try for a TRP.
2. Processing for PR is 5-12 months these days. There is no way to speed up the process.
