Hi I needed help. I have to pay 150CDN $ for my new born child but here in London apparently no high street Bank make Demand Draft in Canadian currency (as I am in London currently with whole family and planning to move from here to Canada and even got astonished to know most of banking staff don't even know the term demand draft they are familiar with it as bankers draft), even I consulted the post office for postal order but they only make in Pound Sterling. Now question is this can I use form IMM5620E and give them authorization to pay only 150$ for my new born from my credit card? Please guide me urgent.....urgent......urgent.....

Natwest does it, you have to have bank account there. Barclays does it too. Thats the too i have used. I am sure other banks make Canadian dollar drafts too! deamand draft and bank draft are the same thing!

DO NOT pay with credit card, I did that for my daughter and they returned it and that wasted 6+ months just for them to inform me that credit card payment is not acceptable for this purpose! So do not worry about getting bank draft. Get it done from your bank. They will take all the details from you like which currency, amount and recepient details and will send it to you after couple of days in the post. Well thats how Natwest and Barclays did for me.!
