New Born - Casier's check!

All,

I have a new born and am planning to add him to my file. Should the casier's check be taken to the order of
"Receiver General of Canada" ? and for 150 USD or CAD ?

I took it in 550 CAD for me and my wife.

Please advice...

Yes, plus you submit updated forms of yourself and your wife (not all just background and family details), 4 pic of baby, birth certificate, and copies of main pages of baby passport, all these docs along with cheque or bank draft of $150 payable to Receiver General of Canada.
