I'm Canadian, our babies where born last august. we sent an updated form right after the babies birth, also we apply for babies citizenship certificates.
now we got an AOR from mexico VO requesting another updated form, pay RPRF, go for medicals, and the citizenship certificates for the babies. i got a mailed letter
from citizenship and immigration on December basically saying they will process the application/s and a case number. not sure if this letter will be good enough as the certificates are in process .

Your child can get a travel document to Canada if you are moving back to Canada before the child gets Canadian citizenship certificate. However there is a limit to that. If the child is 1 year or older (I think it is 1 year), then the child must have a Passport to enter Canada.
