Never received a biometrics information letter (BIL)

Hey everyone,

Months after I first sent my application I received an email prompting me to pay biometrics fees. In the email It said that after payment is made, I would receive a biometrics information letter explaining how to submit biometrics. It's been over a month since I made that payment and I have not received any letter. I've been reading that this letter is normally sent within the week so I'm a little worried. Any advice?

Thanks for replying. I did exactly what they asked on the fee request. I attached the receipt via the IRCC Webform at https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx.

I even sent it again after two weeks of hearing no reply.

If you're positive you sent that correctly then unfortunately all you can do is wait.

Could It be that I chose the wrong "type of application/enquiry" on the webform? I chose "sponsorship", but should I have chosen "replacement documents, amendments to documents, and verification of status documents"?
