I am in a tricky situation right now , I was on last semester and I had 3 more courses to complete so I took an extra semester and became a part time student and also extended my study permit for 3 more months, but unfortunately I had failed in one of the three subjects and I don’t know what to do now.

So you were not full time for all semesters except last semester. If part-time for any other semester, you are not eligible for a PGWP. When you apply you will need to explain situation and hope officer approves it.

No I was a full time student except for the last semester and in that last I had fail in one of the subjects, so I am not sure what to do should I retake that one subject and become part time student again

So if adding another semester, your “last” semester was not full time, so you have two p-t semesters. If I understand correctly, you need to add another semester/last to complete your program.

Whatever the case, you will need to finish that course... and most likely it'll be as part timer.

So you will finish the program without being eligible for a PGWP. All you can do is apply and see what happens.
