Greetings.

I would like to ask about proof of funds .
I am going to apply from dubai for student visa as i am living in dubai and doing job but I am from pakistan.
Can i show my father bank statemnet from pakistan as he is the one who is sponser my whole education expenses.

yes you can show your father's bank statements. You just need to attach a sponsorship letter from your father stating that he will fully support you during your stay in Canada.

you can show your father's bank statement but that statement should be much higher than their requirement as VO can raise a lot of questions,, like you are not only dependent on your father, your other family members are also his dependents and if his statement shows that it could only cover your expenses than how he will manage other dependent's expenses? the best solution is to transfer money in your account and give your own bank statement,,,, ielts is requirement of institute not CIC,,,, if your uni is not asking than it will be fine but having ielts of good score would be beneficial..
