Hi, I'm new here. I really need some help. Is it possible for me to apply for a visitor visa to accompanied my 16 month old daughter? She has already an immigrant visa. I was denied to have a visa because my common-law and I was only lived together for less than 12 months when we applied. My common law partner is already a PR now and working in Canada. I am planning to apply next month because my daughter's visa will expire in May 2015. So, she needs to enter Canada before the expiration. Thanks

1. Then you will have to apply for a TRV. The chances of TRV being issued are pretty low, with the spousal refusal. So you or the sponsoring father better think of an alternate way to get the child to Canada before her visa expires.

Hi PMM. Thanks for the reply. But the best way we think to get our child to Canada is to get a visit visa for me and then accompanied her. My Common-law partner got back to Canada last November 2014 and start working again. So, I don't think his employer will allow him to have a leave just to fetch our daughter here.
