I got my COPR and will be landing in july, after a month I would need to goto the US for some meeting. I assume that I would still not have a PR card to make a re-entry into canada. What is the procedure for this?
Without a PR card you would not be able to board a plane back to Canada so would either need a PRTD which takes time and only applied for outside Canada or come back via the land border with your COPR and passport.

If your original immigrant visa for Canada has not expired at the time of your return, they allow you to enter into Canada again by flight as well.
This happened with someone I know.
The main thing is that you should still have dates on your Canada Immigrant Visa stamped in your passport.
