I used my georgia driver's license for medical exam instead of my passport as my passport is with Indian Consulate for PCC. Also, the driver's license which I used was the temporary paper one as I have changed my address recently and DMV gives a temporary paper license on address change and actual card arrives in about two weeks. I just got my emedical information sheet and it mentions my DL details with DL expiry date as Oct 27, 2018 as it is temporary one. I am bit worried now on how it will impact my application.
Can someone please suggest, will it be a problem? Also, can I ask the doctor to update my ID on medical exam report after I get my passport? Please let me know what are my options here?

why didn't you just wait for your passport to get back? let alone do medicals with a temporary document. would've saved you the headache.
in all cases on the cic website they say you need an identifying document. When you submit your profile you'll have to upload the emedical sheet to the corresponding field and they should link both together.
AFAIK you should be okay but I prefer you'd wait for another confirmation

Thank you for your quick response. I know I screwed. Actually I took a day off work to get PCC from indian embassy and medical exam done. Once I submitted my passport, I realized that I needed it for medical exam also then I called the doctor to reschedule the medical exam and he informed me that it will be ok to use DL so I got it done. Now when I received my emedical form I noticed the mess I made and I got little worried about it.
