Hi,

I just started with the PNP application

I am planning to marry soon or later and that might be after getting my PR. How can I get my spouse to Canada. I mean on which status; dependent, work permit, PR?

I've learnt that it might take 6 months from then if I apply for a PR to my spouse. Is that true? Will I be able to get her immediately with me (on a work visa probably) and then apply for a PR after coming to Canada?

Or if I try to marry after receiving a PNP nomination and before getting a PR , can I add my spouse in the PR application. If I do so, will it processing effect the time and what will be the pro's and con's for it.
