My husband applied for me on January 2012.
From Quebec.
My interview was scheduled at November 2013
After that my medical was requested on February 2014
After that, since I was deported on June 2000.
I was requested to apply for an ARC on April 2015.
My husband recently emailed them showing strong causes, on why need the PR by August 2015, they responded withing day, and July 13, 2015 I was requested for my medical, in response to his email. Is this a good news?

Deported? Cause of my ex husband. Who applied for a PR, Refugee claim, it was rejected. I had no idea of course. Oh and I have a Canadian Citizen daughter from my previous marriage. She is supposed attend university at Canada this Sept, but cannot go without my financial support. We keep mentioning that on every email my current husband sends.
When a sponsorship application involves a deportation and an ARC - it`s normal for the application to take quite a bit longer.
Having said that, it is usually a good sign when they request a new medical. So I would complete the medical as soon as possible and hope for the best.
As for when you feel you need to have PR - CIC generally doesn`t care at all.
I`m not sure I understand what`s stopping your daughter from starting university in September regardless of whether you have PR or not. As a citizen, she can go ahead and travel to Canada.
My PPR is here!
Thank you all for cooperation. However, they mentioned even if I submit my passport there is no guarantee that visa will be issued, they just asked to submit my passport. Can anyone tell me how long till they issue my visa?
