Hi everyone!...

Just need some piece of advice.
presently in UAE, my sister landed this June 2011 in canada, her husband is canadian.

can we now start to process for her to sponsor me and my family???
what are the requirements or steps need to do?

Thanks! Good luck to all

i dont think she can sponsor u they only allow sponsor of brother and sisters over 18 if there are no spouse, this is assuming u r over 18 n sisnce she is married that makes u non eligible

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/relatives-apply-who.asp

Who can be sponsored

You can sponsor:
•parents
•grandparents
•brothers or sisters, nephews or nieces, granddaughters or grandsons who are orphaned, under 18 years of age and not married or in a common-law relationship
•another relative of any age or relationship but only under specific conditions (see Note below)
•accompanying relatives of the above (for example, spouse, partner and dependent children).

Note: you can sponsor one relative regardless of age or relationship only if you do not have a living spouse or common-law partner, conjugal partner, a son or daughter, parent, grandparent, sibling, uncle, aunt, nephew or niece who could be sponsored as a member of the family class, and you do not have any relative who is a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident or registered as an Indian under the Indian Act.

Hi, she cant sponsor you, only you can claim blood relative points if you apply for immigration yourself.

Are you under the age of 22? If so, she could sponsor your parents and include you as a dependent, under certain conditions - if you are married, you have to be financially dependent on your parents and going to school.
Also check out the Provincial Nominee Programmes - in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, people can sponsor their siblings under certain conditions.
