my wife got her SA last year and I just got my AIP few days ago but I saw this " If preliminary information indicates that you likely meet all statutory requirements of the IRPA, you will receive a letter asking you to attend an interview at the Canada Immigration Centre in your area. A final determination on your application for permanent residence will be made at this interview. If you do not attend this interview, it could be interpreted as a lack of interest in permanent residence and your application could be refused. Please note that we will be unable to finalize your application if you are not in possession of a valid passport or travel document."
my question is will I be called in for a interview even after we got AIP and SA fyi our application is almost 3yrs old.

An interview is required before a final decision can be made. You will receive a letter detailing all the information about that interview: date, time, location..etc.
Failing to attend to this interview will result to a refusal. You must bring a valid passport OR a travel document.
