Hello all,

I have looked into the Canadian immigration information on so many websites for a while. Once things got clear and I thought I knew what to do, things became more unclear and I became confused again. Hope somebody can help me here please.

I am from China. I have been in U.S.A for six years and graduated from a nursing school with a bachelor degree. I have my nursing license and I practiced as a registered nurse for 10 months.

I would like to work as a nurse in Canada. However, what should I start with???

I have looked into BC, Ontario, and some other provinces. I don't know which way is fastest to move to Canada: the federal skill worker or get the nurse license first and look for jobs and get work permit???

1. federal skill worker needs IELTS. I do still need to get my nursing license for whichever province that I will stay in, don't I? Do I need to have a job offer before I apply the federal skill worker? which province should I apply and which is the fastest that I can get approved?

2. to get my nursing license first. I will need to have National Nursing Assessment Service. And IELTS also??

Right now I can't practice as a nurse in U.S.A. because employers can't sponsor foreign nurses, very unlikely for employers to do so unless I have master degree. But I seriously enjoy being a nurse.

I honestly don't know what to start and which direction I should go. :o :o :o

Please help. Thank you so so much in advance.

You can take IELTS exam whenever you want.
What happened to your OPT in US after completion of your degree?
