NEED HELP Visitor Visa Expires while PR application in process

Hello All,

I'm currently in Canada on a visitor visa, I have arrived the 28th of July. The officer in the airport have not stamped my passport so to my knowledge that means that my visa is valid for six months after entry, which is the end of January.

I have submitted an application for a spousal sponsorship at the beginning of November. (including an Open work visa)

So now that I'm waiting for a response.. do I have to renew my visitor visa or no ?

No, you don't need to apply to extend your visitor status. You will have valid Implied Status after your current status expires in January while you wait for the OWP.
