My documents were received by CIC Nova scotia in December, 2014. On March 10th, 2015 we received an e mail confirming that our application has been approved for further processing. With that e mail we were given UCI and application number. So far we haven't received PER number.

Question is that we had new born baby on 31st July 2015, Please help to explain what is the procedure for her registration as we don't have PER number yet.

So far I've read that we have to re submit forms like, generic, back ground declaration etc along with proof of payment of CAD150. Question is that we need to send all these documents through e mail or we need to dispatch hard copies to the same office we applied as we don't have PER number and we don't know yet whether we have to correspond with visa office or the office we filled our application? Thanks for the help

The email your received from is called PER.

First of all please note that there is no PER number. Only UCI and File number are give to every candidate.

You must raise a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) by visiting https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

You will need to enter your information in fields in middle of the page. In message body, You must inform them about the new born and request for the documents needed for adding her to your application. They will respond you with complete details. Most of the times they require the documents through email, but this will be clarified in the answer you will receive from your visa office.

Don't waste time, just raise CSE and you will know every thing.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
