• Participation in an on-call rotation and Support large 24x7 mission critical applications.
• Performed J2EE application deployment and administration including JAR, WAR, and EAR files.
• Troubleshoot the issues related to middleware components (Jboss/WebSphere/WebLogic).
• Involved in migrating the web applications to different environments like test, acceptance and production.
• Manage and support above 300+ virtual, physical and blade server.
• Performance management & tuning of LINUX/UNIX Kernel.
• Responsibilities as a Unix System Administrator include monitor and tune systems to make sure of the optimum level of the performance.
• Monitoring and handling system alerts using Pscope and Site scope, Tivoli Net Cool/Omnibus.
• Managing Red hat Clusters and good expertise on Oracle and MySQL.
• Managed and monitored the JVM performance by tuning Heap Size, garbage collection.
• Develop UNIX scripts to facilitate automation of routine configuration & monitoring tasks.
• Managing file space and tuning the system for optimum performance.
• Installation of various patches and restarting Custom App services manage it through Control –M
• Handling systems and traffic using Netscaler load balancer
• Achieving 99.90% up time guarantee.
