Need help : Submitted IELTS General instead of Academic results

Hi All,

I submitted the Student permit today, later I realized i have uploaded the IELTS General results instead of the Academic results (I already have the academic results with me) . will they get back to me asking for Academic results ? or will they just reject it ?

If you have applied under sds and your IELTS General has validity with individual score above 6 band then it won’t be a problem, else u need raise the webform and attached the Academic one.

In the visa office instructions it's mentioned, IELTS academic is highly recommended

Without IELTS it doesn't affect the final decision
No one has ever been denied a permit because they didn't include IELTS certificate.

Hey mate, I have an unconditional offer from a renowned university in Canada. Although I do not have test results as yer, would it be advisable to proceed with study permit application under non-sds/university or general category?

I have also procured a letter from my future Canadian university that I no longer need to provide further proof of proficiency in English.
