We applied for Canada Immigration under FSW category in New Delhi in the year 2006 since from that time we have only received file number and in that application my wife was principal applicant. But in the year 2008 we came to canada on work permit and after 2 years full time employment we applied for immigration while being in Canada under CEC category and we got our immigration in dec 2011. What do I do with my old application. In my application which I filed under CEC category I mentioned that we have applied for immigration in 2006. My question is what do i do with my old application should i email them and stop my application or let it going and dont respond to them. What do I do. need your advice and guidance
You need to withdraw your FSW application as a positive decision has already been made on your CEC application. Its not unusual that people have two PR applications ongoing simultaneously so dont worry about it. Its totally legal and in a circumstance as yours you should just withdraw your old case. If they havent started processing your FSW then they will even issue you a refund of the application fee
