Ok, I am a sponsoring my husband and I aplyed on september, 2012. It's second time for him to go to his medical examination. When does he gets his permenet resident and how long does takes for his visa? My husband's case is held in Amman Jordan and he is from North Iraq. Also the parlement of vancouver is supporting the case. They have sent email to the visa office in Jordan on June 19 but no reply.

no one can properly tell you how long it's going to take. the best option is to check out the thread that the other poster provided a link to. in that thread you will be able to see what the "trend" is for applicants whose files are at the same visa office. EVery visa office handles files on different timelines. CIC is not going to get rid of interviews, while they may "not be any more" currently, it probably means the calendar is full. If the visa office requires an interview, the applicant will be notified. Again, no one is going to be able to tell you how long you will wait to get communication from your visa office.
If you are past the official processing times posted on CIC's website, calling the sponsor's Member of Parliament may be helpful. CIC must respond to their request within a certain amount of time, and an MP *may* be able to find out what's holding up the application. I have a feeling you are probably still within normal processing times for your visa office, as I'm guessing Jordan has a pretty long wait for approval.

Thank you very much for your support. Now I understand. What is the logged for emedical? It says, if you are have not logged for visa application, you must logged with IME or UCI? Do I have to logged in or the Dr. Will do it?
