Hi Friends,
I've received offer letter from Centennial College For PGCP(1 yr duration).
I'm planning to apply under SPP category if eligible.
My tution fee + book + living expences is
$17010 + $843 + $9000
I've taken loan of Rs.7,50,000. so the question is
If I pay all $17010 tution fee before applying VISA and will show
loan for remaining living expences +book +travel (which shoud be sufficient i guess)
then will I be eligible for SPP category?
according to SPP cheklist doc:
Copy of an Educational Loan from an Indian Chartered Bank equivalent to at least 80% of tuition +living + travel expenses for one academic year (normally, first year's tuition, unless already paid, plus $8000).
as my course duarion is for 1 yr, 1st semister fess will be 50% according to doc (min need to be paid for SPP)
will paying full tution fees will create any issue for my VISA application?
will I be eligible for SPP category after paying full tution fees?

Hi,
Yours total fee of 1 year stands for CAD 26853 = (17010 + 843 + 9000).
And for SPP/General you have to put off 80 percent of tuition + living + travel expenses for one academic year, which means you have to show 80 % of CAD 26,853
And the 80 % of CAD 26,853 stands for CAD 21,482.40 (i.e., Rs. 10,37600), Your loan amount = Rs. 7,50,000 (short of Rs. 2,87,600)
*Exchange rate CAD 1 = Rs 48.30
If you can manage the said amount of Rs. 2,87,600 by way of FDR/Bank balance, thn you are eligible to apply under SPP.
hi enfiled
i think he already pay some amount from his own expense to college that first sem fees
that could be deducted as well from the total amount ,.....

Hi,
If I pay all $17010 tution fee before applying VISA and will show
loan for remaining living expences +book +travel
I think you are referring to the above said sentence. I am not sure what is actually intending,
It looks either
CAD 17,010 + Loan Amount of Rs. 7,50,000
or
Loan Amount of Rs. 7,50,000 (including CAD 17,010)
I think you are right, because CAD 17,010 stands for Rs. 8,16,480 (Exchange rate 1 CAD = Rs. 48) and its ofcourse its larger thn Loan amount.

With reference to the above said sentence, I would like to know how do you intend to pay your tuition fees CAD 17,010?
Do you intend to pay CAD 17,010 from your sanctioned loan amount or from a separate resource like a bank balance/FDR ?
