Need help⚠8 months no reply from Embassy

Hi
I have applied for my study permit online on 8th October 2016 and fingerprints done on 10th October.
Till now i haven't heard any thing from embassy no medical request no nothing. I have sent case specific enquiry 3 months back n got answer that it's because of verification of documents.
Is there anyother with the same waiting time period?
What shiuld i do?
Need suggestions as my time is wasting.

Hi i also applied for student visa in april 2017 and its been 1 and half month almost but after my fingerprints did'nt get any response yet. I have applied from pakistan. Could you please tell me the email to send a querry about my case thanks

Same here,i applied in Ghana 17th October 2016 for study permit . I'm still waiting 7 month 3 weeks already . I emailed cic to find out why processing time has elapsed . This was my response :
Dear Sir/Madam,


Please be advised that your application is still in queue for review. No further action is required by you at this moment. You will be contacted once a decision is made.


We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

You can't do anything but rather to wait , the waiting is frenzy though but I can testify you're not the only waiting . I know more than 5 people who are still waiting for decision after 8 months of applying study permit visa from Ghana ..
