I am a Sept 2012 applicant who ordered gcms notes recently.
My eligibility status is review required. The issue is my reference letter says salary as 60k whereas the actual
T4 and noa for 2011 shows only 10k.
Actually the reference letter says my current salary, but in 2011 I was getting dual salary (Canada + my home country)as I was on a intra company transfer .
Do you guys think I should put a note to VO explaining these with my home country tax forms.

Why does your reference letter say 60K, where as the acutal salary is 10K.
Because, my annual salary is 60K(as per the employmer offer and reference letter), where as i would have worked for
only 5months in a year and my T4 & NOA would show only for 5 months and not 60K.
When the reference letter was formed, I had moved to single Canadian dollar salary, so it says 60k.
But in 2011 I was on dual salary and was probably not in Canadian payrolls.
Your first problem is you are required to declare all income in your tax return. So while your t4 would show 10k your noa should have included your other infome... You are required to declare it for tax purposes - even if you have already paid tax. Id suggest getting a correction done to your taxes first and then submitting that + letter to CIC.
Actually, I'd send the explanation letter now, I'd provide proof of the other income and inform them you are having your tax return adjusted and that you will provide the updated documentation as soon as you receive it.
pankymol, did you claim 1 or 2 years worth of experience? what was your eligibility period? Sept 2011-Sept 2012?
