I am unsure if I need to provide documentation for one of the questions on the Document Checklist for A Citizenship Certificate in scenario 3 on page 3. The question asks for " proof of other nationalities acquired by you and your Canadian parent before February 14, 1977, if applicable to you".
My US birth certificate should support my being a US citizen. My father was born in Canada but became a naturalized US citizen when he emigrated with his parents to the US, which was prior to 1977. I am submitting his Canadian birth certificate but do not have his naturalization papers.
Do I need to submit proof of my father's naturalization to the US in this case- I assume as a youth his naturalization would have been automatic when his parents became naturalized.

Post to the citizenship section.

I apologise- thought my first post of this question was in the wrong section, so deleted it and reposted here.
