Dear All,
Hope all are good, I recently became Canadian PR i.e. Dec 2015, already received my PR card. Now in Dec 2016 i am getting married :), Currently I am living outside Canada, My plan is to move to Canada in April 2017 on permanent basis

I want to take my wife with me while moving permanently. which one will be the better approach:

a)Whether to first apply visit visa for my wife and once she is in Canada , will start her permanent visa process.

b) OR First i move to Canada alone and then start her process for permanent visa.

If there is any other better option then please guide. thanks in advance.

It's better and okay to first apply for a visitor's visa for your spouse so she can be with you while you start the application to sponsor her for PR.
