Need advise urgently...

Hi,

I had applied for Canadian Immigration under skilled worker Category, The response i got from the CIC Office in canada is mentioned below:

You have indicated that you have work experience in occupations with the following NOC code: 0213, IT Consultancy, IT Officer, IT Support Officer. Although this NOC code corresponds to the occupations specified in the instructions identified by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on 28 November 2008, the main duties that you have listed do not indicate that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupations as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties. As such, I am not satisfied that your experience corresponds to NOC 0213- Computer and Information Systems Managers.

Although i am pretty much sure that I have done all the work mentioned in the NOC category 0213, I feel the interpretation Of my JD has not been taken correctly.

Please advise what should be my next course of action. Does this email means that it is the end of line for me. Or do i still have a chance...

Is there any regulation that i cannot re-apply under the same category, and if i re-apply with a more modified JD under my experience, would they consider me taking ahead.

You can apply again with modified job duties but better get a letter from you employer stating exactly what your job duties are. Just be aware that a lot of people are trying to apply under 0213 who aren't really 0213 which is why immigration is watching it. They will probably go through yours more closely because you were denied before. You can write a cover letter stating that you don't think your job duties were correctly understood the first time.
