File Transfer...
27-08-2012
So, our file has been transferred to Beijing VO on Aug 27, and we have not heard anything since. Status shows APPLICATION RECEIVED ever since.

There are many people whose files were transferred after ours and they have already received their AOR2 from BJ. For example, a person who got AOR1 on Aug 30, got his AOR2 on Oct 16. That's something like 20 days difference!

What I've done so far is:

1. Send 20-30 emails and case specific inquiry. No response whatsoever!

2. Had my MP send contact them twice - the first attempt was 2 weeks ago, the second was about a week ago. They have not even responded to my MP !!!

What else can I do?

I am thinking of contacting the minster. Also, will have my wife go at the embassy and ask for explanation.

Any other ideas?

It is too early to be contacting anyone. Some people get their visas faster than others, but your time is still below the average for this office.
It won't hurt to contact your MP, but I would not do anything else for at least a couple of months.

OMG You have sent 20-30 E-mails, it is no wonder they wont respond to you, patience is a virtue. Maybe 1 or 2 E-mails but 20-30 is bound to piss them off.

I think what you can do is relax, chill and let them work on your file rather than bombard them with E-mails.
