Need advice whether I should wait for LMIA after securing 460 CRS points

Hi All,

I need a piece of advice. I have secured CRS 460 points and found a company that might file LMIA for me in subsequent months. But the LMIA process might take a little longer as the company has just advertised positions on the govt.website, a few weeks back. According to my research the advertisement has to be active for 3 months before an employer files for LMIA.

The questions are:
1. should i wait for 3-4 months to get LMIA report (which may or may not be positive) before creating profile or just go ahead now, create a profile and apply as soon as the CRS draws below 461 without LMIA?
2. Does positive LMIA only increases your CRS points or it also gives a higher weightage to getting a PR?

1. Apply now, and when (and if) you get positive LMIA, update your profile. Hopefully you will get ITA before that.
2. Only increases CRS points.

Thanks for the info johnny123. Will create the profile now. Hope CRS drops to 460 soon
