Hi everyone,



I’m currently on a closed work permit, but my LMIA is expiring soon. My employer wants to make a new job offer, this time for a senior manager position. I have a few questions and would really appreciate any advice:


1. After we apply for the new LMIA, can I continue working with my existing work permit while waiting for the new one?


2. Do I need to apply for a new work permit right after receiving the new LMIA, or can I keep working under the current permit until it expires?
