Hi everyone,

Recently i did my medical and today i have send my passport for visa stamping.
I'm represented by a lawyer and have already paid her the full fees $3000
Whenever i asked her question through email she is irritated and told me to be patient and she will answer to my question when the time come.
Well i do understand that i need to be patient and not to disturb her and believe me i try not to
But tell me friends if you were in my place and have questions which according to you are of great importance wouldn't you ask for same?
I ask her some questions about bank statement and medical and you know what,
She rang me and got mad at me and stated that she will charge me extra $500 for making her lose her time and that she will block me through her email and will see that i go through a rough time.
I had no time to give her my explanation as she just cut off the line.
I'm afraid as she might do something to delay my passport as all my correspondence go to her at first.
Actually I'm not in my home country i,m on a student visa in another country my visa will be expired in the beginning of December.
I'm afraid if i don't have my passport by then i will be considered illegal.
Please members advice me what i should do?
Thanks.
Regards
Narmeen

just leave her alone and wait for the good time don't disturb her and if she ask you more money just tell ya you will but when passport arrive with visa.

Hi ,

Thanks for the quick reply.
But believe me before sending me any correspondence she will ask me to transfer the amount first.

Hi Narmeen,

It is really outrageous how some Attorneys behave with their clients. You should not have paid her full fees before Visa stamping.
There are ways to block her by withdrawing her representation etc. But at the final stage, I suggest, you should not bother about it.

Secondly, you should not worry unnecessarily about your deadline. Most probably you should get your Passport with your Visa stamped within 1-2 months depending upon category (If you have applied for a student visa, you will get it earlier!) So December is quite far for you.

Dont spoil your relations with her. Instead, send her a THANK YOU note! Maybe, she will not demand that extra sum. If she does, then arrange to meet her personally, if possible, and ask her politely to explain her reasons for that.

Hope you will venture out successfully!

Hi Bestpal,

Thanks for the advice that's what I'm going to do beg her for forgiveness even if i don't want to do same.
I really don't feel i did something wrong.
But what can be done in that case.
Anyway i don't see good at this stage to change solicitor.

thanks

Just stay calm and humble until you get your visa stamped in passport. When a passport arrives to her, negotiate for extra cost and ask her to waive it. Once you get your passport in hand with visa stamping then unveil her real identity to public and forum members so that other appicants will be benefited.

Wish you best luck

Once you get your visa with passport then go to her office and punch her on face. these people deserve that but don't do anything before that. good luck

@ belize

I trust you are just showing your reaction which definitely should not be carried out by Namreen. Remember her opponent is a legal professional and can sue Namreen for assault thus jeopardising her plans.

@Namreen, No matter how much you are angered by your legal pest, restrain yourself and avoid doing anything nasty.

(though I agree with SISH7255 to name and shame her with facts in forums so that others are adequately warned in dealing with 'Her')

yes bestpal I agreed what you saying and narmeen follow what bestpal saying I did;nt mean it. That was my just anger only on this thread.

1. You can change your address to deliver passport and visa.

2. I understand you are in other country on student visa but your parents must be in your native country.

3. Remember you have already sent your passport for stamping, almost process completed, your consultant will not have anything to do now. There is no role of your consultant now. Visa office will issue visa within 1 to 2 months.

4. Change your correspondence address of your application to your parents permanent address. Visa and passport will be delivered there.
