I just wanted to have a clear picture of the process about permits and Visa.
I have just applied for two different Graduate Certificate programs under two different colleges from Ontario (namely, Algonquin and Georgian) both being a 1 Year course. Here are my some basic questions which i hope will benefit other aspirants as well
As far as i know, the permit which applies for this one year while i study is the Study Permit giving me an eligibility to have a years' Work Permit. Do i have to apply for a Work Permit? If yes, what will be the most appropriate time to do so before my Study Permit expires...1 month prior?
Once the Work Permit for a year is now granted to me, and i land a full time job, does the employer then extend my Work Permit? If yes, by how many years is it extended to?
When can i apply for a PR? Does my Indian work experience of 2.3yrs count as well for the PR or is it just the Canadian work experience?
