am single, male, new immigrant, Indian, looking for a room to share with other roommates...can pay $250 rent...i really appreciate if anybody is here to help me...dont know anybody in canada....

I think OP is looking to spend $250 / month. I believe the cheapest option at safehomestay is about four times that.

I have no idea how / where you find $250 in the GTA...

am sure for $250 sharing accomodation will be available .. but the only difficulty is getting catch hold of those from India...how can we pay hundreds of $$ initially without a job????

If you have loads of money, then you can pay even thousands of $$ initially without a job. If you need help to remit money to Canada, perhaps you can contact Bank of Nova Scotia (Canada) in New Delhi.
