Do you need one year of training to qualify for points for the QSW?

I am busy doing a certificate program from continuing studies in Canada (not Quebec) but its only 1 semester long. This area of training would give me 16 points.

Do I need to do 8 months (1 academic year) to receive points for QSW program? But yea this study program is worth 16 points as a ACS (equal to certificate of continuing studies).

I see on Quebecs immigration website that they want a Quebec diploma that is 1 year long or more, but doesnt say about other parts of Canada.

I dont know, I want to ask. Will I get ACS 10 points + 16 points for area of training if the education is less than 1 year (in other parts of Canada).

Thanks please reply, either yes or no, and if you can explain why, please do.
