Necessary to send financial support to spouse?

In one of the applications it asks the spouse if she/he received any financial support from her spouse. Is that necessary? What if she is living with her family and doesn't need my financial support?

It is NOT MANDATORY as different couples have different situation. Other sponsored people are not really financially dependent to their sponsor during the sponsorship.

Providing financial support to your partner tho is one of the proofs of relationship.

Make sure you provide other proofs like you photos, boarding passes of visits, chat logs, gifts, etc.

Thanks for the tips! How do you show proof of gifts if it was given in person?

Ours were different because we are apart. If you have gift receipts, or pictures of her with the gift, would be nice.
Otherwise, provide other proofs that will let the CIC know that you have a genuine relationship, and that you spend a lot of time together.

Okay thank you Iay. I am away from her also so don't have pictures of her giving me a gift. I will think of something.
