We applied for NBCC's fall 2022 intake back in February, but got stuck on receiving a study permit.
And we passed biometrics and have had no news ever since.
The funny thing is that NBCC is willing to defer our study if we won't get approval till September, BUT they need an official denial from IRCC.
And it's clear as day if immigration services won't process our case until September, they will not give an official denial either.
So we’re kinda stuck. We probably can't arrive on time for study and, at the same time, we can't defer because IRCC is dead silent.
Does anyone have something similar for the NBCC fall 2022 intake?

Same here for my son. NBCC will only defer you if you have a refusal, otherwise you are withdrawn if you do not get approval before Sept 6 when classes resumes. They will ask you to reapply for the next Fall admission and that's what he has done since his SP application is delayed.
