Hi, I am a resident of India and apllying under family class sponsorship( outland) .I am a principal applicant. Can I use details of passport in the form IMM0008 for the National identity card instead of filling details of adhaar card?

I don't know about India. But driver's license in Canada is provincial. So it's not a national ID for sure.
From google adhaar card can be considered as national ID in India. But if you don't have national ID, I think it's fine to leave it as N/A (at least for the paper form application). I am not sure how that works for online forms.
