Names on PR card and passport

I recently updated my British passport as it was close to expiry and also to change my name due to marriage. My PR card is still in my maiden name and due for renewal next year. I am travelling to Bermuda next month and I contacted CBSA about this and they stated that it was fine to travel with them in different names and to carry my marriage certificate as evidence. I held off updating my PR card as the processing time would have cut it too close based on this info. I'm now having second thoughts that the airline will have issues and not allow me to board even with the evidence? I've read of others not having problems but would like some reassurance if anyone has any?

What does the airline say ? Assume you have the old passport which is usually returned, your new passport, your marriage certificate and your PR card ?

Airline just says a valid PR card must be shown - my PR card is still perfectly valid it doesn't expire until next year. I have all those things - yes.
